Roderick Groundes-Peace, a 72-year-old writer from Horwood, is set to release his first fiction book ‘The Voyage of the Skara Brae and Other Tales’ after five years of work.
The book explores a variety of settings from the Indian Oceans to post-World War 1 Yorkshire that features a novella and five short stories
As for the future, Rodrick is already working on his next project he describes to be a challenge. “I have now written 40,000 words and with some help I might like to take it to publication, I’ve challenged myself quite hard with it because I wanted to write it from a female point of view, but I like the challenge” he said.
The Voyage of the Skara Brae and other tales is already listed on Amazon and will be available for purchase starting November 28th, in both paperback and eBook formats
