The Miami Heat reached the NBA Finals after winning 125-113 over the Boston Celtics. This will be the Heat’s first time reaching the finals since 2014.
Bam Adebayo scored the most points for the Heat with a career-high of 32 points and 14 rebounds. Adebayo stated he blamed himself for the Heat’s loss in game five but redeemed himself against the Celtics on Sunday, marking the Green’s third Eastern Conference finals loss.
LeBron James, star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, will be on the opposite side of his former team, the Miami Heat, as he led the Lakers to their first NBA Finals in 10 years.
The Heat will take on the Western Conference winner, the Los Angeles Lakers, in the finals with game one of seven starting on Wednesday.
