Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity celebrated three decades of dedicated service and care to the Buckinghamshire community on Saturday, 28th October. The anniversary festivities were on display at the local charity shop in the heart of Buckingham, where the community honoured and commend the charity’s unwavering commitment to those in need.
The local shop was transformed into a hub of celebration adorned with colourful decorations. Well-wishers gathered to share treats, merchandise, and expressions of gratitude for the organisation that has stood as an integral part of the community.
For 30 years, the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity has provided crucial support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Their commitment extends beyond clinical care to encompass practical and emotional assistance, empowering individuals to make the most of every precious day.
The charity shop’s charms lies not only in the quirky treasures it offers, ranging from antique items to vintage vinyl and eccentric clothing, but also in the collective effort of residents who have supported, donated and contributed towards it.
