Aldi is urging residents to apply for 16 openings at its Aylesbury stores.
The international grocery chain is looking to recruit 16 positions in the county town and 50 across Buckinghamshire.
Aldi has noted that people of all backgrounds are urged to apply for positions throughout the South East region, and that they are looking for both full-time and part-time personnel.
The supermarket chain has also announced its current recruiting drive, which coincides with an increase in shop assistant rates. According to Aldi, store workers will now be paid £12.00 to £12.40, and £13.55 to £13.65 if they work within the M25.
Aldi claims to offer the best pay rates in the business and says it will commit £79 million to salaries.
Kelly Stokes, HR director at Aldi UK, stated, “The implementation of our latest pay boost demonstrates our commitment to our people that we will always be the best-paying supermarket.
“Our colleagues play an integral part in our ever-increasing popularity, and this is another way for us to acknowledge the incredible work they do every day across the UK.”
Aldi continues to encourage residents to find new places for its stores in Buckinghamshire and beyond. Aldi attributes its recent growth to individuals seeking affordable goods in the midst of the cost-of-living crisis.
