The Thames Valley police are making a public appeal concerning a rape investigation in Buckingham.
The offence happened inside a Market Hill property between 1 am and 2 am on Sunday (29/1).
Prior to the offence, the offender, a man, and the victim, a woman, met on a night out on Saturday (28/1) into Sunday (29/1).
A 25-year-old man from Buckingham has been arrested on suspicion of rape. He has been released on police bail until 30 April.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Declan Rogers said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything unusual or suspicious in Market Hill between about 1am and 2am on Sunday to contact the police, no matter how insignificant you think the information you have is.
