Buckingham sparkled with festive delight as the town gathered for its much-anticipated Christmas Lights, hosted by Mayor Anja Schaefer.

The evening, filled with music, entertainment, and seasonal charm, brought the community together to celebrate the holiday season.

From the stage outside Old Gaol, young performers from PQA Buckingham, and the Bucks Gospel Fellowship Choir performed captivating songs.

The Cattle Pens hosted a vibrant Christmas market, where stalls offered unique gifts, delicious street food, and wine.

Families enjoyed free crafts at the Chantry Chapel and interactive entertainment, while taking advantage of late-night shopping and the Table Santa Van.

At 5:30 pm, the evening unfolded as Mayor Schaefer, joined by Town Crier Patrick Laws and the winners of the Christmas card contest, illuminated the town with the switch-on of the Christmas lights.

Residents cheered as Buckingham’s streets lit up with lights, indicating the official start of the holiday season.
