According to the Walt Disney Company, the recently released streaming platform, Disney+, reached over 10 million subscribers in just 24 hours.

On November 12th, the platform was released to the USA, Canada and the Netherlands. This led to a number of outages due to the increasing number of subscribers in such a short period of time. The number of demands from Disney fans was certainly a factor into contributing to this big number. Along with blockbuster making films from Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel, Disney+ is making a strong presence within the competition.

Disney+ will be making its Australia and New Zealand debut on November 19th.
