Driver faces drink charge after two children die in M1 crash

 A woman has been arrested on drink-driving charges after two children aged  four and ten died in a crash on M1, according to BBC News,
 
Mary McCann, 35, from Derby, was driving a white Vauxhall Astra which collided with a Scania HGV at about 23:10 pm on Monday, on the northbound carriageway between junction 14 and 15, near Milton Keynes.
 
Another child passenger and Ms McCann were both injured and taken to hospital but have been discharged. The Scania HGV driver was not injured.
 
The relatives are supported by specially trained officials.
 
Ms McCann is due to appear in court on 6 September.
 
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this collision, to get in touch.
