Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet to be performed at Roxburgh Theatre

Arcadian Opera’s production of Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet will take place this weekend at the Roxburgh Hall Theatre at Stowe School.

The Buckinghamshire-based company has employed professional performers from across the country to play the lead roles in the production, to be accompanied by the Arcadian Opera Chorus, Children’s Chorus and Orchestra, directed by Music Director Justin Lavender.

Set in 15th century Italy, the set and costumes have been designed by Stage Director Ali Marshall.

The production has received support from Arts Council England.

Performances will take place on Saturday 19th at 7.30pm and Sunday 20th at 3pm.
