Phil Spector, who worked with the likes of the Beatles and Tina Turner, passed away in prison while serving a sentence for murder, according to the BBC.
Specter, who retired from the music industry between the 80s and 90s, was convicted of murdering Lana Clarkson in 2003 and accused of threatening four other women with guns.
His ex-wife, following his death, took to Instagram to say, “a brilliant producer but a lousy husband”.
