The giant swans, used over the summer as part of the Buckingham Swan Trail, are going up for auction to raise money for local causes.
The sculptures will be on display for the final time at the Old Gaol Museum in the town centre, from Monday 23rd October until Friday 3rd November.
This exhibit is open to the public, allowing them to visit and view the all 10 swans in one place. In this week, the swans are also open to bidding from anyone who wishes to place one.
All the swans were individually painted by school children and artists and sponsored by local businesses and Bucks Council’s Buckingham & Community Board.
The popular trail saw more than five thousand people take part and over 10,000,000 steps taken by explorers. This provided entertainment fro children and families during the summer holidays, as well as increasing business to Buckingham High Street.
The auction event is sponsored by Buckingham Old Gaol Museum, and is advertised online and through social media via the Buckingham Town Council where it is also possible to place a bid.
