Argentina is heading to the polls soon as elections are being held on the 11th August with many seeing this as a referendum on the policies of the current centre-right president Mauricio Macri as the country is suffering with economic problems such as austerity.
The election will see Macri take on his center-left counterpart Alberto Fernandez with Fernandez expecting to be the victor and the first round of voting will determine who will win the presidency and will shed light on the problems that have gripped the country.
Argentina has been suffering austerity under the current Together for Change government of President Macri and this is strong breeding ground for Fernandez to take power, in the process, sending a message; end the austerity.
