The owners of a stolen blind hedgehog have hailed his safe return as a “miracle”.
Frank and Veronica Tett, whose hedgehog Stephen was blinded after being sprayed with chemicals, run a hedgehog hospital near Scunthorpe.
The much-loved hedgehog was in a cat carrier inside the van when the vehicle was stolen at about 08:15 on Saturday morning.
The couple have said that Stephen is now back home and settling back in after five days away.
The hedgehog has been in their care since he was brought to them in June.
