The Summer Play Event will take place to celebrate the opening of a long awaited new play area on August 4th.
The project cost £120,000 and was launched to replace the Avenue Road play area. Parents were also involved, taking part in a survey to assess what equipment they wanted to see.
The Parish Council was granted a contribution from the Buckingham and Villages Communities Board of £10,750. In December 2022 a further grant of £95,000 was agreed.
Buckingham MP Greg Smith is set to unveil the new play area on August 4th at the Summer Play Event run by Milton Keynes Play Association and sponsored by the Maids Moreton Parish Council.
The Event takes place from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm and offers a bouncy castle, arts and crafts and other fun games. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
