Earlier Harrold Opticians was broken into and a till was stolen. The till was found abandoned at the church and it is thought that the thieves  may have used it to smash the church window.

The community have started rallying around the business, based on Bridge Street, inviting customers to donate to the church as the estimated cost is around £1500 to repair the window.

According to the Advertiser, Harrold Opticians manager Beth Lucas said: “Thieves broke into our shop at just after 10.30 pm on Wednesday night and stole the till and its contents.”
