Emily Ratajkowski has accused the singer Robin Thicke of sexually assaulting her on the set of the music video for the 2013 hit ‘Blurred Lines,’ according to The Times.

In her upcoming book, the 30 year-old American supermodel alleges that Thicke groped her bare breasts during filming for the controversial song’s video.

Mrs Ratajkowski was one of three models who appeared semi-naked, whilst singers Thicke, Pharrell Williams and TI were all fully-clothed in the video shot by an all-female team.

Since its release, the song has received significant criticism for glorifying rape culture, with Thicke repeatedly singing “I know you want it” in the former number one.

Mrs Ratajkowski said: “Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind.

“I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke. He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the set.

“I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the heat of humiliation pump through my body.

“I didn’t react – not really, not like I should have.”
