Hit and run reported in Buckingham

A man in his 50s was knocked off his ladder following a hit and run last weekend.

Around 8:50am Sunday 29 October, a man in his 50s was knocked off his ladder while cleaning his gutter.

The driver, in a Toyota Yaris, knocked the man down on the High Street in Buckingham.

Thames Valley police have confirmed the driver has not been identified or taken into custody.

The victim was taken into hospital, following serious injuries sustained to his leg.

Thames Valley police have made an announcement asking for any witnesses to come forward. They have also confirmed the Toyota was a 60 or 70 plate  with an A and a Y in the index.

The investigating officer, PC Richard Minney said, ”

“We are requesting those who may have captured the incident on CCTV or dash-camera to make contact”
