Violent clashes between protestors and the police continued on Tuesday as they took their battle onto the campus of Chinese University Hong Kong (CUHK).

Black-clad protestors, mostly students of CUHK, barricaded themselves within the university, attempting to block off the riot police. Tear gas was fired as the protestors retaliated with fire arrows and petrol bombs. Throughout Wednesday, they continued to barricade and arming themselves with catapults and armour. Smoke was seen within the vicinity of the university, as protestors made bonfires from an abandoned car.

Administrators announced an early suspension of studies to students because of the current situation. This situation is sure to continue on throughout the week with CUHK being the main target for the police.
