As part of the celebrations for the 25 year restoration at Stowe House, an open photography competition was announced.
The competition invites enthusiasts of all levels to immortalise the architectural beauty of this local historic landmark.
The prize includes a chance to be featured in the 2025 Stowe House Calendar and an accompanying exhibition.
Photographers are encouraged to visit Stowe House during general admission times or purchase an event ticket for access to the house at alternative times and for spaces behind the scenes.
There is also a dedicated category for under 18 entrants, to allow for the inclusion of younger participants.
The competition itself aims to encompass a range of categories. This includes the elegance inside Stowe House, the symmetrical architecture of the exteriors, representation across each season, and the details of the recently restored State Rooms.
Entries can be submitted from 10th January online via www.stowehouse.org, with the deadline being 31st August. Winners will then be announced on the 13th September.
The winners are invited to a preview event celebrating the opening of the photography exhibition in autumn, whilst also receiving a copy of the 2025 calendar itself.
