The University of Buckingham Rugby Club, also known as the UoB Bears, are growing out their moustaches throughout November. The fuzz symbolises solidarity and awareness for men’s health issues.
The UoB Bears have set a goal to raise £750 for men’s health projects.
A newsletter sent to all students read: “Your support can make a real difference in the lives of men facing various health challenges. Your generous donation will contribute to initiatives that address these crucial issues head-on.”
The UoB Bears will also host “Guys Night In” on Wednesday, November 22nd, in the OTM.
November 19th is celebrated as International Men’s Day, and organizations across the UK utilize Movember to highlight men’s health issues.
