Another named storm will hit parts of Britain on Tuesday with wind and rain warnings issued, according to The Met Office.
Storm Francis is expected to bring 60mph gusts of wind to Western parts of the country and heavy rain for many, with a yellow wind warning in force for the whole of Wales and most of England until noon on Wednesday.
Beachgoers have been advised to take additional care with large waves expected in coastal areas around the South West, which will move along the English Channel as Tuesday progresses.
It has also been warned that the unseasonable wind may cause possible disruption to transport and outdoor activities.
Andy Page, Chief Meteorologist, said: “The UK is in for another unseasonably wet and windy spell with Storm Francis arriving on Tuesday.
“There will be strong winds and heavy rain, especially in the west of the UK.
“A number of severe weather warnings have been issued and these warnings can be updated regularly so please keep up to date with the latest Met Office forecast.”
