Youth charity Action4Youth has announced an expansion of its National Citizen Service (NCS) programme in order to offer a life-changing experience to even more young people across Buckinghamshire.

NCS, which is designed for young persons aged 16-17, runs every summer and autumn during school holidays. On NCS, paricipants are given the opportunity to live away from home, intermingle with new people, and take on exciting tasks and challenges. This gives many youths their first real taste of independence and equips them with the tools necessary to launch them into adulthood.

Emily Davis, Director of Programmes at Action4Youth explains: “We are thrilled that we will now be delivering the NCS programme across the whole of Buckinghamshire. In summer 2019 Action4Youth had the highest net promoter score (customer satisfaction score) nationally and we are excited that we can offer such an amazing experience to many more young people across Bucks in Summer and Autumn 2020.

Action4Youth is a leading charity working across Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and the surrounding counties, providing educational and transformational experiences designed to inspire children and young people.
