Bourton Park lights up for Bonfire Night

Bourton Park hosted Buckingham’s annual Bonfire Night celebration with an entertaining exhibition organised by the Buckingham Council. Commemorating the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, the event unfolded with precision and flair, offering residents a night of captivating showcases.

A flaming torchlight procession led by members of the Town Council marked the lighting of the traditional bonfire. The evening also featured magnificent firework displays that painted the night sky with vibrant colors and patterns, accompanied by mixed performances showcasing hula hoops, wings, and LED sticks—a testament to the town’s prowess in Circus Arts.

Attendees indulged in a range of culinary delights, from hot snacks to artisan donuts and sweets, complemented by a licensed bar provided by Silverstone Brewery. Children were entertained throughout the night, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Bonfire event blended tradition and entertainment underscoring the town’s commitment to creating memorable experiences and an unforgettable celebration.
