Brest cancer awareness at the university

On October 20, which is the official date for the yearly event, participants are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

On the designated day, it was essential for both the teaching staff and the students to outwardly display their compassion and support for those who are suffering with breast cancer by donning the colour pink in any way that is feasible. This was done in order to raise awareness about the disease.

During the course of a massive fundraising effort that took place on the Buckingham campus, an impressive sum of more than seven hundred pounds was successfully collected for a charitable organisation that works to combat breast cancer.

According to Nicole Parish, who is suffering with breast cancer and who is also the organiser of the charity event, the primary goal of the event is to produce funds for people who are engaged in the struggle against the disease.

They have been able to collect more than 400 pounds altogether thanks, in large part, to the generosity of those who have donated money to the cause.

On the specified day, which was Friday the 20th, it was obligatory for everyone at the school, including students and staff members, to show their support for the fight against breast cancer by donning pink clothing and doing so in a conspicuous manner in order to display their sympathy with the cause.
