Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are set to join the roster of celebrities making Buckinghamshire their Christmas home. Sharon confirmed their plans to permanently relocate to the UK by year-end in a recent interview with the Daily Mail. The former Black Sabbath member, 77, and his wife, 71, have long intended to move from Los Angeles to Welders House in Buckinghamshire, a 120-year-old Grade-II listed property they acquired in 1993.
In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, Sharon expressed frustration over delays in their relocation plans, citing heating issues at the Bucks mansion. She also discussed Ozzy’s recent health challenges, including spinal complications from Parkinson’s Disease, leading to surgeries that disrupted their initial Christmas 2022 move. Ozzy’s 2019 home fall exacerbated injuries from a near-fatal 2003 quad bike crash, prompting a pause to his No More Tours 2 in Europe this year.
In the Mail interview, the 71-year-old TV personality praised the remote and private nature of the UK property, reportedly chosen for its distance from pubs.
Sources close to the couple previously mentioned they were awaiting improvements in the LA property market before selling their West Hollywood estate.
