The Buckingham-based company, Art Pursuits, has set up independently after separating from its parent. The company will now be known as Fine and Cultural Tours.
The new company will bring together the former specialist in art history and cultural tours with Boxwood Garden tours, now additionally offering vineyard tours to their line-up.
The company’s offerings include long stays, day trips, UK and overseas destinations and study days. Recent destinations include Japan, Provence, Prague and Devon.
Art Pursuits was originally founded by local art historian Dr Joachim Strupp who sadly died in 2017. Joachim worked closely with many members of the team still at the company today, keeping his passion for informed cultural expertise growing.
Announcing the launch of the company in Buckingham this week, Mel Taylor who has been with the company for over 6 years said: “Fine and Cultural offers truly personalised tours in small groups. All our tours are accompanied by subject matter expert lecturers supported by a professional tour manager, polished in logistics with detailed knowledge of the area visited.
“Every restaurant, hotel and visit is thoroughly researched in advance to ensure that customers are never disappointed. We are enormously proud of our tours, it is no accident that clients return to us again and again. They even share with us their travel dreams and we do our best to create new tours in response”.
