Missing Milton Keynes man found ‘safe and well’

Police have confirmed that they have located a man who had been reported missing from Milton Keynes, according to Thames Valley Police.

Ahmed Selim, aged 30, was reported missing on Friday evening (27 August) and had last been seen at around 5pm that evening in Worelle Avenue, Middleton.

According to police, Mr Selim was known to frequent Middleton, Willen Lake and Kingston but did not know the Milton Keynes area as a whole well.

He had last seen wearing a grey long sleeved Ralph Lauren polo top, blue jogging bottoms and black trainers before he was located on Saturday morning.

A statement released by Thames Valley Police said: “A man who had been reported missing from Milton Keynes has been located safe and well.

“Ahmed Selim, aged 30, was reported missing yesterday and has now been found.

“We would like to thank the media and members of the public for their help in finding him.”

Inspector Lucy Bottomley, based in Milton Keynes, had previously said: “We are very concerned for the welfare of Ahmed.

“We are asking for the public’s help in finding him. Ahmed is not in any trouble, but he may be frightened and disorientated.

“We just want to get him home safely with his family.”
